Product Description
The MOPS Buffer [3- (N-morpholino)propanesulfonic acid buffer] is a versatile zwitterionic Good's buffer used in biological research. With a pKa of 7.20, MOPS is an excellent buffer for many biological systems at near-neutral pH, and maintains a pH range from 6.5 to 7.9. It is often used as a buffering agent in biology and biochemistry, and is recommended for polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, as a running buffer, in separating RNA in agarose gels, and for protein purification chromatography.
