Product Description
The Tris-Acetate-EDTA (TAE) Buffer is a pH regulator and chelator often used in molecular biology techniques such as agarose gel electrophoresis. Supporting a pH range of 8.1-8.4, the TAE Buffer combines tris base, acetic acid, and EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic Acid) to form a solution efficient in separating nucleic acids as a running buffer, or as a component of agarose gels. This Buffer is prepared in a 50X stock solution, and can be diluted to ideal concentrations.
