Product Description
The Triton X-100 Lysis Buffer is a widely used lysis buffer in molecular biology and biochemistry applications. Composed of buffering components as well as Triton X-100, a nonionic surfactant, this lysis buffer solubilizes lipids and proteins, effectively breaking open cellular compartments. The Triton X-100 Lysis buffer is known for its effectiveness in cell fractionation extraction protocols, due to its ability to solubilize the endoplasmic reticulum, plasma membrane, and nuclear envelope.
