Product Description
Orange G-Loading Dye is a tracking dye used for agarose and non-denaturing polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, particularly for DNA and RNA samples. It provides a visible marker that helps monitor the progress of an electrophoresis run. Orange G-Loading Dye is valued for its clear and sharp bands, which do not interfere with separated nucleic acids. This dye is preferred for its fast migration, running ahead of the sample, allowing for easy determination of when the electrophoresis is complete. This loading dye is mixed with glycerol, a dense substance, allowing the dye to settle at the bottom of wells prior to gel running.
