Product Description
Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) solution is a reliable pH regulation tool for laboratory processes. HCl is a strong acid, and dissociates completely in water into hydrogen (H+) and Chloride ions (Cl-). This increases the levels of hydrogen ions in solution, effectively lowering reagent pH. Aqueous HCl can be diluted to be used as a titrating agent for laboratory procedures involving lowering the pH of reagent types, manipulate the solubility of some reagents, and as a general laboratory reagent.
