Product Description
The Bis-Tris Propane buffer, also known as BTP, is a zwitterionic buffer with a wide buffering range from pH 6.3 to 9.5. Because of this buffering range, BTP is a versatile buffer for biological systems that is highly adaptable for different experimental conditions. Â This buffer is particularly useful for protein crystallization, nucleic acid purification, electrophoresis, and enzymatic reaction studies. It is widely used to enhance the stability or activity of restriction enzymes.
